Great time here with food portion an service, all for $5.95! The following is their lunch special for today. I’ve posted some pictures as well. The fried pork was so tender! And your dish comes with a flavorful cilantro fish soup.
Definitely a bargain.

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Coffee
Tried the new pumpkin flavored iced coffee this morning at dunkin donuts. Pumpkin coffee from them sucks! Why? It’s a strong bitter acid coffee taste, maybe over roasted because it tasted burnt. However for the coffee bean connoisseurs, this coffee is not a flavored drink from a syrup to mimic the pumpkin taste but actually roasted coffee bean with pumpkin flavor infused. So definitely you can taste the pumpkin flavor amidst the weird bitterness.
Recommendation: Don’t try it! Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice tastes much better…(not bitter but sweet).

Deep Fried Twinkie – House Special $1.25
I tried the Deep Fried Twinkie because I’ve only heard of it on the Food Channel and to see it in town, made me say “Hurray!” I had to try it.
The Deep Fried Twinkie seems lightly battered to give it a nice crispy shell while the inside is soft and moist. “Melts like butta!” (Read with accent)
So after trying one Deep Fried Twinkie out, I ordered three more for my family to try and they all loved the crispy soft sweet taste of the DEEP FRIED TWINKIE. Check out the video.

Just saw Pizza Hut’s new commercial where they lowered the prices.
1. Medium Pizza up to 3 toppings $8
2. Large Pizza up to 3 toppings $10
3. Specialty Pizza add $2 to the above
Before, the deal at Pizza Hut was any Medium Pizza for $10 even specialty. Therefore Pizza Hut lowered the amount of toppings and reduced the price to $8 and if you wanted a specialty pizza then $10 would be the price. This deal turns out to be the same if you order a specialty pizza but if you just wanted a few toppings then $2s cheaper.
July 26, 2010 – Pizza Hut’s $10 pizza with any toppings is a good value. We tried the supreme pan pizza and the dough was really soft and well cooked throughout. I don’t remember the dough being that way from the past recipe Pizza Hit had.
Then I tried for lunch a $5 personal pizza with pineapple topping. However I realized that when pineapple is alone on a pizza it’s not excellent, just alright. I guess pepperoni is the best topping when by itself.
Either way try Pizza Hut’s pizza and tell us what you think.
The Value Menu at Pizza Hut is $5 and here are the choices:
1. STUFFED PIZZA ROLLERS – Hot from the oven, these jumbo-sized rolls are stuffed with pepperoni and cheese. Get an order of 4 with ranch or marinara sauce for $5.
2. PERSONAL PANORMOUS™ PIZZA – Crush your hunger with a 1-topping Personal PANormous™ Pizza — 4 BIG slices of pan pizza goodness. It’s big enough to take on the biggest appetite.
3. P’ZONE® PIZZA – The P’Zone® pizza weighs in at over a pound and is nearly a foot long. Choose from Pepperoni, Classic or Meaty. It’s served with marinara sauce for $5.99.

Pizza Hut does not have a menu they give out on paper for some reason. The only places to find the menu is online at Pizza Hut’s website www.pizzahut.com or at the store. So we took a picture of the menu with prices at the store. You can find the picture in the gallery above labelled Menu.

Chipotle is a very popular place to eat by the young crowd, it’s no wonder since Chipotle is supposedly owned by McDonald’s. Either way the food tastes great or the choices are simple like ordering a number 1 meal. Take a look at the menu and you’ll see what I mean in being simple but good.
Interestingly though is the tacos that I’ve seen twice only ladies eating. I guess because there are only three tacos. Most of the guys choose the burrito and the wrapping (aluminum packaging) has a ingenious way to peel and eat. I had a friend who told me about how to properly peel the wrapping to eat the burrito with good manners and with nothing spilling.
Another fun thing about Chipotle is the iPhone app they have so you can pre-order, pay, and just pick up if you’re in a hurry. The service is never slow so don’t worry if you see a long line.
I have been cutting down on my soft drinks (pop/soda) and drink water instead. Chipotle is happy to provide a small cup for water from the fountain dispenser.
My friends know me for loving condiments (more specifically hot sauces) and Chipotle has all the Tabasco brand flavors. So enjoy spicing up your burrito or tacos!

Domino’s Pizza has a $5.55 special if you buy 3 medium pizzas, sandwiches, or pasta bowls. You can mix and match them. So I you have two other friends who want something from Domino’s this is a great deal. Domino’s tastes much better since they have new ingredients now.
I’ve seen one location where they would not have the minimum 3 items but anyone during lunch hours could just buy one for $5.55. This makes sense because customers got smart and started to combine orders together as they were waiting to order. That sure is being neighborly! Plus Pizza Hut, Domino’s competitor sells a pizzas without a minimum purchase so at this location it made sense to be flexible.
Order online, call them before, or be a good neighbor (find some people who wants just one pizza) and order together!
